As a Campus Brand Ambassador, you’ll spot organizations planning apparel, set up a quick meeting with the UTees team, and move on. No selling, no designing—just networking and making connections!
WHAT DOES THE TYPICAL DAY
OF A CAMPUS BRAND AMBASSADOR
LOOK LIKE?
You will connect with student organizations and Greek chapters on your campus who are planning merch and introduce them to University Tees by setting up quick intro meetings with our team. You will spread brand awareness on campus by sharing info through social media, events, and your daily conversations.
WHAT QUALITIES MAKE A GOOD CAMPUS BRAND AMBASSADOR?
A great Campus Brand Ambassador is sociable, positive, self-motivated, organized, and helpful. A passion for design and a strong campus network are always a plus!
IF THERE IS ALREADY A UTEES TEAM ON MY CAMPUS, DO WE WORK TOGETHER?
Yes, you can! Every campus is different and this would be something you can discuss with your BDL to determine what would work best for your school.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
You create your own schedule and do this remotely from your campus, during hours that are best for you and your customers! There is not a required number of hours per week, but ensuring that you are keeping up with generating leads on your campus is essential to success. There may be busier times of the year like fall and spring, and slower times like summer and winter break.
HOW DOES COMPENSATION WORK FOR A CAMPUS BRAND AMBASSADOR?
You will be compensated for each lead that turns into a customer meeting or close order with University Tees. There is no cap on how many leads you can submit, so there is endless potential!
HOW WILL THIS ROLE HELP ME IF I’M NOT A BUSINESS MAJOR?
Although this role deals greatly with sales, marketing, the business management experience, and apparel merchandising, any major has an equal opportunity to be successful in this role! This experience will give insight on time management, self motivation, and communication that will look great on resumes! This role also fosters connections to networks on campus and beyond that you otherwise may not have. We accept students of all majors, regardless of post-graduate plans.
I’M ALREADY VERY INVOLVED AT SCHOOL, CAN I BE A CAMPUS BRAND AMBASSADOR?
Absolutely! This role is extremely flexible and allows you to make your own schedule. This role is also a lower time commitment than our Campus Manager role, allowing more flexibility for you.
